With all the different skincare products out there, it can get overwhelming to keep up with the different uses and ingredients. I was recently talking to a friend who would love to do a 7-step step skincare routine but honestly, doesn’t have time. A lengthy skincare routine is not for everyone due to limited time especially in the mornings.
Sometimes, we just don’t know just where to start. I am sharing some products that are my go-to products. These are products that I started using before delving into stuff like retinoids, AHA peels, Glycolic Acids, etc. (this
is for another post). This skincare routine is simple yet effective, is 5-steps but takes under 5 minutes to complete. If you feel that your skin is too oily or too dry in some areas of the face, I suggest getting a basic facial first, which will help not only to balance the skin but also in absorbing the products efficiently and give better results.

STEP 1 – CLEANSE
STEP 2 – TONE
Using a toner before applying other products balances the skin pH levels. Sometimes, during summer we tend to use cleansers and face wash that dry out our skin and strip it’s natural oils.
STEP 3 – SERUM
Gently pat in the serum onto the skin and let it sit for about 30 seconds.
STEP 4 – EYE CREAM
Use ring fingers to pat eye cream around the eye are for 30 seconds.
STEP 5 – MOISTURIZE
Final Step: Seal in your serums with a moisturizer
